Reasons behind hair loss
Everyone has their own opinion on the reasons for hair loss including doctors, clinics and yes even scientist cant agree on the subject of hair loss.
Not even specialists of hair can appear to agree on the actual causes of hair loss. Various views come from many medical professionals themselves as to what the actual causes of hair loss really are and what will, could and should treat your hair loss. Various clinics will also give you various reasons as to why you loss hair but this is just what they have been taught so thats what they belive to be true which is what we would all do. General Reasons for Hair Loss:
Ageing -
Hair loss from ageing is said to be ranged among 20 - 50 years of age. This maybe true for some but with most hair loss will not start from ageing until around 30years of age.
Hormones -
Natural male hair loss (baldness) happens due to basic male hormones known as Androgens which are made up of a collection of hormones. Testosterone is the most relevant hormone in regards to the process of hair loss. A derivative called Dihyrotestosterone is responsible for actual hair loss in a male. A little of the necessary genes that are inherited to give you hair loss is formed into a derivative (Dihydrotestosterone) by some hair roots.
Hereditary
Nervous disorders
Infections, illness and diseases -
Some illness and infections etc have the side effect of baldness.
Injury and impairment -
Poor flow of blood to the head and scalp, insufficient nutrients in the blood stream, and even if waste products are drained poorly through the lymphatic systems. These can be a cause of hair loss (these can be due to several causes).
Toxic substances -
Always read the layble if you do not want to risk going bald!
Radiation -
A well known side effect of radiation is baldness, this is because the body and all its cells are being destroyed.

As you can see from the above most peoples explanations on hair loss are quite simple (may not be correct though), but some do not keep it this way and you will find very long and technical explanations. As said at the start you will get many different explanation to the cause of hair loss from both clinics, doctors and consultants, so you must see which sound most likely to be why you personably have a problem with hair loss.
I belive that in general hair loss is caused from both ageing and hormones.
